Description	This collective volume publishes expanded version of papers, presented at the international scientific symposium, held in Dolní Roveň in October 2003. The book is divided into two parts: theoretical texts and research reports. In the first part are placed texts about teaching and research agenda in the anthropology of Europe, politics of higher learning in the post-socialist context, about racism in general education on the case of Slovenia, anthropology of Eurasia, European kinship, Europe from the urban culture perspective, , and ethnic discourse in Bulgaria and Macedonia. In the second part are published four essays dealing entirely or partly with the results of the research project in Dolní Roveň, one contribution about re-study of the Hungarian commune of Varsány, and one on the study of trust in the southern Slovakian commune of Kráľová nad Váhom. (en) Tento kolektivní svazek publikuje rozšířené verze referátů, přednesených na mezinárodním vědeckém symposiu, pořádaném v Dolní Rovni v říjnu 2003. Kniha je rozdělena do dvou částí: teoretické texty a výzkumné zprávy. V první části jsou umístěny texty o výukové a výzkumné agendě v antropologii Evropy, politice vysokoškolského studia v postsocialistickém kontextu, o rasismu ve všeobecném vzdělání na příkladě Slovinska, antropologii Eurasie, evropském příbuzenství, Evropě z perspektivy městské kultury, a etnickém diskursu v Bulharsku a Makedonii. V druhé části jsou uveřejněny čtyři eseje, zabývající se zcela nebo částečně výsledky výzkumného projektu v Dolní Rovni, jeden příspěvek o restudii maďarské obce Varsány a další o výzkumu důvěry v jihoslovenské obci Kráľová nad Váhom.
