Description	The effect of marine pollutant tributyltin on acute steroidogenesis, PPARs and CYP3A responses in Atlantic salmon (salmo salar)in the presence and absence of cyclic AMP activator, forskolin was examined. The study demonstrated that tributyltin modulated multiple biological responses that include acute steroidogenesis (cAMP/PKA, StAR, P450scc and cortisol), PPAR isoforms (PPARa, PPARb and PPARg) and ACOX1 and CYP3A/PXR in interrenal tissues of Atlantic salmon.The cAMP activator (forskolin) produced different effects on responses both singly and also in the presence of TBT.
