  • Pomocí ultrazvukových detektorů byly sledovány sezónní a celonoční změny letové aktivity a biotopové preference druhu P. pygmaeus. Výzkum probíhal v roce 2001 v biotopech lužního lesa na JV Moravě (CZ). Noc byla rozdělena do 3 třetin. Během každé z nich byla nahrávána aktivita netopýrů na 4 typech biotopů: okraj porostu, vodní plocha, louka, zapojený les. Sezóna byla rozdělena do 4 období s ohledem na rekrodukční fázi netopýrů: graviditu, laktaci, postlaktační období a období migrace. Nejvyšší aktivitu jsme zaznamenali na počátku noci (1. třetina). Během 2. třetiny byla aktivita nízká po celou sezónu. Pro 3. třetinu byl zaznamenán nárůst aktivity teprve v období po porodu mláďat. Sezónní změny aktivity ukazují na bimodální charakter, především na okrajích porostů a v lese. První vrchol aktivity byl zaznamenán na jaře (květen) a druhý koncem léta (srpen). Aktivita nad vodními plochami byla sice proměnlivá nicméně ve srovnání s ostatními biotopy vysoká. Aktivita v lese a nad lesními průseky byla vyrovna (cs)

The night was divided into thirds; during each one bat activity was recorded in selected habitats, i.e. ecotones, water bodies, meadows inside the forest, forest paths and dense forest. The season was also divided into four parts with respect to the reproduction of bats, i. e., pregnancy, lactation, post-lactation and movement period. The highest activity was recorded at the beginning of the night (1st third). During the 2nd third, flight activity was very low throughout the whole season. The level of activity increased after the parturition during the 3rd third. The seasonal course in activity showed a bimodal pattern along edges and inside the forest with the first peak in spring (May) and the second one at the end of summer (August).
