  • V oblasti Regiao de Lagos u Rio de Janeira v Brazílii jsou v podzemní vodě vysoké koncentrace radionuklidů. Radium a uran jsou při nízkém pH přítomny jako kationty a jsou velmi mobilní. Při zvyšování pH pak dochází k jejich adsorpci. Další faktor zvyšující koncentrace radionuklidů je vysoká salinita podzemní vody. (cs)
  • There are increased concentrations of radionuclides in groundwater in Regiao de Lagos close to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Radium and uranium are present as positively charged species and they are very mobile under low pH conditions. They are adsorbed when pH increases.
