Description	Influence of age, body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure (BP) on the carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) with respect to baroreflex sensitivity (BRS) in normotensives and treated hypertensives was studied. Multiregression analysis showed that an aditive influence of age and BMI on a development of IMT is essential in normotensives.
