| - Mezinárodní dlouhodobá prospektivní studie ELSPAC zahrnuje také ženy z České republiky: výsledky shrnují údaje 4530 žen z Brna a z okresu Znojmo, tyto ženy byly rozdílně vystaveny aktivnímu a pasivnímu kouření. Anamnestické údaje byly získány z mezinárodně unifikovaných dotazníků, které byly vyplňovány během těhotenství a v druhém měsíci po porodu. Při použití jednotných postupů byly gynekology, porodníky a pediatry v průběhu těhotenství a porodu sbírány objektivní údaje sledující zdravotní stav žen a novorozenců. Významné rozdíly mezi kuřačkami a nekuřačkami byly zjištěny ve výskytu konzumace alkoholu a marihuany jak před a v průběhu těhotenství, tak po porodu. V osobním hodnocení zdravotní anamnézy kuřačky častěji uváděly špatné zdraví (subjektivně hodnocené), paniku a ztrátu sebekontroly během porodu. V současných těhotenstvích kuřačky častěji trpí placenta praevia, abnormalitami placenty, zpomalením růstu plodu a malformacemi plodu, na druhou stranu výskyt preeklampsie byl u kuřaček nižší. - The international longitudinal prospective ELSPAC study also includes women from the Czech Republic : the results sum up data from 4530 women from City of Brno and District of Znojmo who had different exposure to active and passive smoking. Anamnestic data were collected by fulfilling the internationally unified questionnaires during pregnancy and at the 2nd month after delivery. Gynaecologists, obstetricians and pediatricians, using the unified procedures, were collecting objective data in the course of the pregnancy, delivery, monitoring health status of women and newborns. Significant differences were found between smoking and non-smoking women in the prevalence of alcohol and marihuana consumers both before and during pregnancy and after delivery. In personal health history, smoking women more often reported their self-perceived poor health, panic and loss of self-control during the delivery.
