Description	The aim of the study was to prove the existence of double genotype coincidence of polymorphic candidate genes between normotensive and hypertensive subjects. A Czech population sample (398 subjects, 192 normotensives and 206 hypertensives) was genotyped at angiotensinogen (M235T) and endothelin-1 (G8002A ET-1)genes using PCR method. We proved interaction of two polymorphic variants of both genes in essential hypertension-the decrease of MT heterozygotes in (--)homozygotes (P=0.0025) and the increase of the alele (-) in MM homozygotes(P=0.0034). (en) Cílem této práce bylo ověřit existenci rozdílu ve výskytu dvojnásobného genotypu polymorfních kandidátních genů mezi normotenzními a hypertenzními jedinci. Vzorek české populace (398 osob, 192 normotoniků a 206 hypertoniků) byl genotypizován na angiotensinogenovém genu (M235T AGT) a na genu pro endotelin-1 (G8002A ET-1) metodou PCR. Prokázali jsme interakci dvou polymorfních variant obou genů u esenciální hypertenze-pokles heterozygotů MT u homozygotů (--)(P=0,0025) a nárůst počtu alely (-) u homozygotů MM (P=0,0034).
