Description
| - Generative techniques of software development such as software product lines or software factories are largely adopted and they are considered as the future of software engineering. The component-based software engineering does not stand apart from this trend and proposes customized generative methods suitable for developing with well-de?ned building blocks. One of them, called a meta-component system, partially adopts an idea of product lines and focuses on preparation domain- speci?c component systems. Although, the concept seems promising it still needs improvements, preferably based on case-studies. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to apply the idea of the meta-component system and implement a domain-speci?c component system SOFA High Integrity (SOFA HI) for a domain of embedded and real-time applications.
