Description	Dieser Beitrag versucht nachzuweisen, dass Tschechien den Wechsel von überwiegender Auswanderung zu überwiegender Einwanderung schon überschritten hat.Es hat sich seit 1989 zunächst zu einem Transitland von Migranten und dann zu einem Einwanderungsland gewandelt, das heute immerhin den viertgrößten Wanderungsgewinn unter den EU-27-Ländern auf-weist. Dieser Wandel im Migrationsregime lief parallel zu tiefgreifenden politi-schen, sozio-ökonomischen und demographischen Veränderungen. Als wichtigste Triebkraft der Migration erweist sich in Tschechien die wirt-schaftliche Entwicklung: das Wachstum des BIP, geringe Arbeitslosigkeit, Nach-frage nach Arbeitskräften und auch ein bedeutender informeller Sektor. Wir nehmen daher an, dass die Situation Tschechiens der Stufe des ?Take-Offs? im Konzept des Migrations-Übergangs entspricht. This article intends to prove that Czechia has already passed the tipping point from prevailing emigration to a prevailing of immigration and is on the way to a ?mature? immigration country. Since 1989 Czechia has been transformed first to a transit and subsequently to an immigration country with the fourth-largest positive net migration in the EU-27. This transition went hand in hand with profound political, socio-economic and demographic changes. As the most important migration driver, the economic development in Czechia can be identified: GDP growth, low unemployment, demand for labour force as well as the importance of an informal sector. We assume that Czechia fits into the take-off stage of the transition concept. (en)
