Description	Studie přináší analýzu některých klíčových pojmů homérského jazyka, kterými básník popisuje lidskou tělesnost a psychiku. Dále jsou diskutovány eschatologické motivy homérských eposů a další aspekty archaického myšlení o lidské přirozenosti. Cílem studie je přehledným způsobem ukázat, v čem se homérský pohled na svět a na člověka odlišuje nejen od našeho ale také od klasického řeckého, se kterým se setkáváme v dílech řeckých autorů 5. a 4. stol. př. Kr. The study analyses some of the keywords of Homeric language describing psychical aspects of man. The eschatological motives and other aspects of archaic thought concerning human nature are also discussed. The main intention of the study is to show in a synoptic view the most important features distinguishing the Homeric notion of man from the classical notion attested in the texts of the fifth and fourth century BC.
