Description	The mode of presidential election has been changed in thc Czech republic: the Czech constitution has been amended so as to elect the president by direct universal suffrage. If this choice meets probably legitimate expectation, it nevertheless raises various problems that have not been laid. This article attempts to provide a reflection on the first direct election of the head of the Czech state in 2013. (en) Le mode d'élection présidentielle a fait l'objet d'un changement radical, la constitution tchèque ayant été modifiée de manière a pouvoir élire le président au suffrage universel direct. Si ce choix répond a une attente sans doute légitime, elle n'en pose pas moins divers problèmes qui n'ont pas été posés. Cet article tente de proposer une réflexion base sur les premières élections directes du chef de l'Etat tchèque en 2013.
