  • The outbreak of first Balkan War in October 1912 led to the last important international crisis before the First World War. This conflict threatened seriously the interests of Austria-Hungary on the peninsula. Author in his study analyses the circumstances and causes which influenced the position of the Habsburg monarchy, especially attitudes of Germany, Great Britain and Russia. Great attention is dedicated to the attitude of German ally, which led to the diplomatic failure of Austria-Hungary and deterioration his international position. (en)
  • Der Ausbruch des ersten Balkankrieges im Oktober 1912 führte zur letzten internationalen Krise vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Dieser Konflikt bedrohte ernst die Interessen Österreich-Ungarns auf die Halbinsel. Der Verfasser dieser Studie analysiert die Umständen und Ursachen, die die Position der Habsburgermonarchie beeinflussten, speziell die Stellung Deutschlands, Großbritanniens und Russlands. Die große Aufmerksamkeit ist gewidmet der Stellungnahme des verbündeten Deutschlands, die zum diplomatischen Misserfolg Österreich-Ungarns führte und seine internationale Stellung verschlechterte.
