  • This article describes a novel, rapid and inexpensive methodology for assessent of copper chelation. It demonstrates that clioquinol and chloroxin and much more potent copper chelators than D-penicilamine.Moreover, lower binding affinity of D-penicillamine compared with 8-hydroxyquinolines and trientine was demonstrated.
