Description
| - Z výsledků předložené studie vyplývá, že azitromycin (AZT), substrát Mrp2, inhiboval in vitro a in vivo žlučovou i renální exkreci vysokodávkového methotrexátu (MTX). Na rozdíl od výsledků získaných ve studii s izolovanými hepatocyty, in vivo inhibice eliminace MTX nastala již při plazmatických koncentracích AZT, kterých je v klinické praxi běžně dosahováno. Z tohoto důvodu se interakce mezi AZT a MTX jeví jako klinicky významná. (cs)
- The present study reports that azithromycin (AZT), a substrate for Mrp2, inhibited the in vitro and in vivo biliary as well as renal excretion of high-dose methotrexate (MTX). In contrast to results of hepatocyte in vitro study, the in vivo inhibition of MTX elimination occured within the clinically achievable AZT concentrations. Therefore, the interaction between AZT and MTX can not be excluded in clinical settings.
