| - The most basic consists of a description of the characteristics and abnormalities of particular temporal bones.The 2nd one is the measurement of various structures in a larger set of temporal bones and the monitoring of these structures over time. The height of stapes was measured in a set of 40 temporal bones from 27 fetuses, and the growth of stapes from the 13th to 36th weeks of pregnancy was determined.A computer-assisted nonlinear regression analysis of diagnostics enabling simultaneous examination of data was carried out, a growth curve model proposed and a mathematical method with Ratkowski criteria for estimation applied to find the best descriptive model of the height of stapes versus time y=f(x) growth curve; the results of 13 growth models were examined. It was found that the maximum growth of the height of stapes was between the 13th and the 24th weeks of pregnancy.

- Histologické nálezy spánkové kosti se dají hodnotit z různých pohledů. Ten nejzákladnější se skládá z popisu charakteristik a abnormalit konkrétních spánkových kostí. Druhý zohledňuje měření různých struktur ve velkém souboru spánkových kostí a sledování těchto struktur v čase. Výška třmínku se měřila v souboru 40 spánkových kostí ze 27 plodů u kterých byl určen růst třmínků mezi 13. až 36. týdnem těhotenství. Byla vykonána počítačová nelineární regresní analýza diagnostiky umožňující současný průzkum dat a výsledkem bylo navržení modelu růstové křivky včetně aplikace matematické metody s Ratkowski kritériem pro odhad s cílem nalezení popisného modelu výšky třmínku versus času y=f(x) růstová křívka. Analýza výsledků 13 růstových modelů vyústila v poznání, že maximální růst třmínku je mezi 13. a 24. týdnem těhotenství. Průměrná výška třmínku byla 1,05 mm v 13. týdnu a 2,6 mm v 24. týdnu. Později se růst zpomalil a jeho průměrná výška ve 30. týdnu těhotenství byla 3,0 mm. (cs)
