Description	Randomized study comparing two doses of unfractionated heparin (2000 and 5000 IU) in transradial catheterization with following non occlusive hemostasis and ultrasound control. In case of radial artery occlusion immediate one hour ulnar artery comppression was applied for radial artery reopening with another ultrasound control. This new nonpharmalogical method was effective and safe in both groups of patients. Nevertheless, the incidence of final radial artery occlusion was significantly lower after a higher dose of heparin.
