Description	Barrettův jícen je v současné době definován přítomností metaplastické střevní sliznice v distálním jícnu. Charakterizace exprese jednotlivých subtypů cytokeratinu ve sliznici Barrettova jícnu přispívají k přesnější identifikaci původu metaplastického epitelu. Výsledky naší práce prokázaly, že exprese cytokeratinů v Barrettově jícnu úzce souvisí se stupněm diferenciace epitelových buěnk a že má úzký vztah ke kmenovým buňkám lokalizovaným ve vývodech esofageálních žlázek a v oblasti krčků žlázek žaludeční sliznice. (cs) Different epithelial types were classified by histological criteria in the mucosa of Barrett´s oesophagus (BO). Immunohistochemical detection of a wide spectrum of cytokeratins (CK) showed that the mode of CK expression in BO is closely related to the differentioation degree of cells forming BO, and that CK pattern is similar to that in the cells forming the necks of gastric glands and ducts of oesophageal glands. Different epithelial types were classified by histological criteria in the mucosa of Barrett´s oesophagus (BO).
