Description	The authors wish to thank to Dr. Sławek and his colleagues for their interest in our article [1] and for their comments. The data from Slawek et al. and Derejko et al [2] and [3] studies do not contradict data published in our paper. In our patients, the rare occurrence of MRI and clinically manifest of cerebrovascular disease (CVD) concur with results of other published studies. We did not therefore focus our interest on the presence of CVD in Parkinson's Disease (PD). Rather, we raised the question: does the pathology of vessels supplying the brain (independent of the presence or absence of CVD) contribute to disease severity in PD patients?
