  • Die unikate und künstlerisch eindrucksvolle Sammlung von Ofenaufsätzen in Form der Tierplastiken im Ethnographischen Institut des Mährischen Landesmuseums Brünnbelegt einzigartige und bisher unbekannte bildende Ausdrücke der Volkshandwerker, die ein gebührendes Fachinteresse verdienen.   • An unique and impressive collection of the animal ceramic sculptures in the Ethnographic Institute of the Moravian Museum documents remarkable and still unknown products of the folk stove makers which interest the ethnographic researche. The animal sculptures were used to adorn the top of a tile stove´ s in Moravia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They represent the remarkable part of the cultural heritage and document the creative imagination and the level of the taste in the objects of the everyday life of our ancestors. (en)
