  • The text deals with the collection of Erwin Raupp´s photographs that has been made in 1904 in the south-east Moravia and now placed in the three Czech museums (Brno, Praha, Uherské Hradiště). The role of regional publicist and collector František Kretz, the problem of author´s approach to the reality and the level of documentarity is discussed, and the way the photographs have been used in scientific and popular literature, as well.   • Der vorliegende Text analysiert die Kollektion der Fotos von Erwin Raupp, die in Südostmähren im Jahre 1904 erworben wurden und jetzt in drei tschechischen Museen (Brno, Praha, Uherské Hradiště) bewahrt werden. Weiter wird die Rolle des regionalen Publizisten und Volkskundesammlers František Kretz, den Zutritt des Fotografs zur Realität, den dokumentarischen Wert der Fotos und auch ihre Anwendung in der fächlichen und populären Literatur diskutiert.
