| - The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of soya replacement (50 or 100%) with whole (WL) or dehulled seeds (DL) of white lupine cv. Butan in the diets for market pigs. The experiment was performed on 50 pigs in equal numbers of barrows and gilts with initial mean live body weight (BW) of 18.3 kg, for 100 days. The production efficiency of the finisher diets was non-significantly higher for experimental diets (WL 50, WL 100, DL 100) in contrast to control diet. The differences among diets containing WL or DL seeds were non-significant. During the experiment, no adverse effect of lupine on the health of pigs was observed and no significant differences in the parameters of carcass quality. It follows from the present experiment that white lupine cv. Butan can be successfully used for complete replacement of the supplementary soya protein in the diet for market pigs.

- Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit vliv celého (WL) nebo odslupkovaného semene (DL) bílé lupiny, cv. Butan v dietách výkrmových prasat při různé míře náhrady sóji (50 nebo100 %). Pokus byl proveden na 50 prasatech (50 % male, 50 % female) s iniciální tělesnou hmotností (BW) 18.3 kg., po dobu100 dní. Produkční účinnost finisher diet byla neprůkazně vyšší u pokusných diet (WL50, WL100, DL100) vůči kontrolní dietě. Nebyly prokázány významné rozdíly mezi dietami s celým nebo odslupkovaným semenem lupiny. V průběhu pokusu nebyl prokázán negativní vliv lupiny na zdravotní stav prasat a nebyly zjištěny průkazné rozdíly v ukazatelích jatečné hodnoty. Z dosažených výsledků vyplývá, že semena testované odrůdy lupiny jsou zdrojem kvalitního proteinu, který může být alternativou při náhradě sóji v krmných dávkách výkrmových prasat. (cs)
