Description
| - Aviární tuberkulóza byla prokázána v jedné zoologické zahradě v hejnu 38 vodních ptáků čeledí Ardeidae a Threskiornithidae. Přítomnost Mycobacterium avium subsp. avium (MAA) byla častěji (p = 0.01) detekována v tkáních a/nebo ve vzorcích trusu 18 ptáků čeledi Ardeideae: volavka bílá, volavka popelavá, volavka stříbřitá a bukač ve srovnání se 2 ptáky z čeledi Threskiornithidae: ibis. Aviární tuberkulóza nebyla diagnostikována u kolpíků. Tuberkulózní léze byla objevena u 9 ptáků. MAA izoláty IS901 RFLP typu F-C3 byly přítomny u všech 20 infikovaných ptákům a ve všech vzorcích z vnějšího prostředí. Směsná infekce MAA izoláty 3 RFLP typů F-C3, G-C3 a T-C3 byla zjištěna u jednoho ibise. Všech 20 izolátů z tkání IS901 RFLP typu F-C3 z 20 ptáků a 8 MAA izolátů z prostředí byly plně virulentní pro kuřice, zatímco izoláty RFLP typů G-C3 a T-C3 nebyly virulentní pro kuřice. Všechny testované MAA izoláty měly stejný IS1245 RFLP %22ptačí profil%22. (cs)
- Avian tuberculosis was detected in one flock of 38 water birds of the families Ardeideae and Threskiornithidae. Mycobacterium avium subsp. avium (MAA) was more often (p = 0.01) detected in tissue and/or faecal samples in 18 birds form the Ardeideae family: Little Egret, Buff-backed Heron, Great White Egret, and Bittern in comparison to 2 birds from the Threskiornithidae family: Sacred Ibis. Avian tuberculosis was not diagnosed in Spoonbills. Tuberculous lesions were found in 9 birds. MAA isolates of IS901 RFLP type F-C3 were present in all of the 20 infected birds and in all environmental isolates. A mixed infection with the MAA isolates of three RFLP types F-C3, G-C3, and T-C3 was found in one Sacred Ibis. All 20 tissue isolates of IS901 RFLP type F-C3 from 20 birds and 8 environmental MAA isolates were fully virulent in pullets, whilst the isolates of RFLP types G-C3 and T-C3 were non-virulent in pullets. All of the tested MAA isolates had the same IS1245 RFLP %22bird profile%22.
