  • In order to facilitate the selection of candidate genes in the porcine 6q11-21 region we mapped nine genes using the Roslin porcine/hamster radiation hybrid panel. Two of them (CYP2A6 and SULT2A1) were also mapped by fluorescence in situ hybridization. These nine markers were assigned into a single linkage group. The predicted gene order is PRKD2, FUT2, SULT2A1, HIF3A, GIPR, MAP3K10, CYP2A6, HNRPUL1, SUPT5H. Comparative mapping revealed multiple rearrangements between pig chromosome 6q11-21 and human 19q13.

  • Abychom usnadnili výběr kandidátních genů v oblasti prasečího chromosomu 6q11-21, zmapovali jsme pomocí prasečího/křeččího radiačního hybridního panelu devět genů. Dva z nich (CYP2A6 and SULT2A1) byly rovněž mapovány metodou fluorescenční in situ hybridizace. Určili jsme, že tyto markery patří do jedné vazbové skupiny. Předpovězené pořadí jednotlivých genů je PRKD2, FUT2, SULT2A1, HIF3A, GIPR, MAP3K10, CYP2A6, HNRPUL1, SUPT5H. Komparativní mapování odhalilo mnohonásobné přestavby mezi prasečím chromosomem 6q11-21 a lidským 19q13. (cs)
