  • Topoly a vrby pěstované ve výmladkových plantážích (RRD) na zemědělské půdě jsou slibnými a již komerčně pěstovanými energetickými plodinami v Evropě. Určování volně distribovaných nebo nových klonů je dosti problematické v terénu v důsledku složité taxonomie obou druhů (topol a vrba). Naším úkolem bylo ověřit, zda metoda DNA fingerprintingu použitá pro identifikaci klonů a hybridů topolu černého může být užita rovněž u jiných odrůd a hybridů topolu i následně ověřit zda klony importované a uznané v ČR jako Jap-104 a Jap-105 (Populus nigra L. x Populus maximowiczii Leb.) se liší ve své DNA. Celkem 57 vzorků topolových klonů bylo sebráno z klonových archivů a plantáží v České republice, Německu a Rakousku během let 2006 a 2007. Použitá metodika DNA fingerprintingu prokázala použitelnost rovněž pro jiné odrůdy a hybridy topolů. (cs)
  • Poplars and willows grown in short rotation coppice (SRC) on agriculture land are promising and already commercially grown energy crops in Europe. Determination of free-distributed or new clones is rather problematic in field due to difficult taxonomy of both genera (Populus and Salix). Our task was to prove that DNA fingerprinting method used for identification of clones and hybrids of Populus nigra can be also used for other species and hybrids of poplars and secondly to prove that clones imported and declared to Czech Republic as Jap-104 and Jap-105 (Populus nigra L. x Populus maximowiczii Leb.) differ in their DNA. Together 57 samples of poplar clones were collected from clone archives and plantations in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria in 2006 and 2007. Used methodology of DNA fingerprinting was proved to be applicable also for other species and hybrids of poplars.
