  • Uptake of Pb and the biomass yield of plants Brassica juncea v. Opaleska were observed in a field and a pot experiment following chelating agents addition into a contaminated soil. The field experiment was set up in heavily contaminated modal Fluvisol in the Litavka River alluvium, Czech Republic. Pb phytoextraction from the identical modal Fluvisol and modal Cambisol was found to be less contaminated by atmospheric deposition in the pot experiment. The application of 0.2 g EDTA/kg and 1 g citric acid/kg into the soils of the field and pot experiments was carried out 10 days before harvesting of B. juncea. Pb mobility increased in the soils of both experiments after EDTA application. The influence of citric acid on Pb mobilization was markedly lower than EDTA. Pb mobility was found 10 days after both chelating agents application and at the same level as before application. Strong Pb mobilization in the pot Cambisol after EDTA addition resulted in high Pb uptake.

  • V parcelkovém a nádobovém pokusu byla sledována fytoextrakční účinnost rostlin Brassica juncea L. v. Opaleska bez a s aplikací chelatačních činidel do kontaminované půdy. Parcelkový pokus byl založen na silně kontaminované fluvizemi modální v nivě řeky Litavky, okres Příbram. V nádobovém pokusu byla porovnávána fytoextrakce Pb z identické fluvizemě a méně kontaminované (atmosférickou depozicí) kambizemě modální. Aplikace 0,2 g EDTA/kg byla provedena 10 dní před sklizní rostlin B. juncea. Obsah mobilního Pb v půdě vzrostl po aplikaci EDTA v obou pokusech. Vliv kyseliny citrónové na mobilizaci Pb byl výrazně nižší než EDTA. Mobilita Pb byla po deseti dnech od aplikace chelatačních činidel na stejné úrovni jako před aplikací. Silná mobilizace Pb v kambizemi z nádob po aplikaci EDTA měla za následek vysoký příjem Pb. (cs)
