  • The paper deals with optimisation of threshold suction pressure of soil water on light soils for early potatoes, early cabbage, late cauliflower and celery on the basis of results of small-plot field experiments with differentiated irrigation regime. Reference and actual evapotranspiration was determined for the experimental crops according to FAO Paper No. 56 and by means of a biological curve (BC). By using these two methods of calculation of actual evapotranspiration the soil moisture balance was found out. Based on the influence on marketable yield and proportion of the crop quality grades was determined the optimum threshold suction pressure on light loamy-sand soils for potatoes, cauliflower and cabbage 30 kPa and for celery 15 kPa. The really achieved values of seasonal irrigation depths at optimal suction pressure are for potatoes nearer to the depths calculated by the BC, while for the cauliflower, cabbage and celery they are more akin to the depths calculated by FAO 56 methodology.

  • Článek se zabývá optimalizací prahového sacího tlaku půdní vody na lehkých půdách pro rané brambory, rané zelí, pozdní květák a celer na základě výsledků maloplošných polních pokusů s diferencovaným závlahovým režimem. Pro plodiny užité v pokusu byla stanovena referenční a aktuální evapotranspirace podle publikace FAO 56 a metodou biologické křivky (BC). Při užití těchto dvou způsobů výpočtu aktuální evapotranspirace byla provedena vláhová bilance. Podle vlivu na výnos tržního produktu a jakostní skladbu sklizně byl stanoven optimální prahový sací tlak na lehkých hlinitopísčitých půdách pro brambory, květák a zelí na 30 kPa a pro celer na 15 kPa. Reálná závlahová množství při optimálním sacím tlaku půdní vody jsou u brambor blíže hodnotám vypočteným pomocí BC, zatímco u květáku, zelí a celeru jsou blíže hodnotám vypočteným užitím metody FAO 56.
