Description	Lucerne is the main forage crop for ruminants. However, its protein value might be reduced by nitrogen losses that occur during extensive rumen degradation, and, likewise, the protein value of forages are related to the stage of maturity (growth stage). A preliminary study was conducted to evaluate these influences in lucerne (var. Palava) grown in the CR. From this study, it can be concluded that, although limited in the sample size, the amino acid contents and intestinal digestibility are influenced by growth stage, even over a period as short as 30 days. Její bílkovinná hodnota se však může snižovat ztrátami dusíku, které vznikají během rozsáhlé degradace v bachoru. Navíc se bílkovinná hodnota píce mění v průběhu dozrávání (podle růstové fáze). Byla provedena předběžná studie, ve které byly hodnoceny tyto vlivy u vojtěšky (var. Pálava) pěstované v ČR. Z této studie vyplynulo, i když vzorek byl malý, že obsah aminokyselin a intestinální stravitelnost jsou ovlivněny růstovou fází, dokonce i během tak krátkého období, jako je 30 dní. Tyto údaje však nelze brát jako neměnné, ale je třeba je ověřit pro každou růstovou fázi v dalších pokusech. (cs)
