| - Three isoenergeric and isonitrogenous diets containing potato pulp (PP), sugar beet pulp (SBP) and wheat bran (WB) at 350 g.kg-1 were compared in an experiment with growing rabbits. Concentrations of NDF and ADF in these diets were 321 and 220, 290 and 164, 324 and 169 g.kg-1, respectively. The PP diet contained more cellulose and less hemicellulose than SBP and WB diet. Fifty-four weanling Hyplus? rabbits, 34 days of age at the start of the experiment, were used. Rabbits were slaughtered at the age of76 days. Rabbits fed the PP, SBP and WB diet gained on average 35, 40 and 37 g per day, respectively. Feed intake was significantly lower and feed conversion better in rabbits fed PP diet than in other rabbits. There were no significant differences in weights of digestive organs, except for the weight of caecum, which was the heaviest in rabbits of the PP group (200, 185 and 163 g in the PP, SBP and WB group, respectively). These rabbits had also the most viscous small intestinal contents (P<0.05).

- Byly porovnány 3 experimentální diety obsahující bramborové zdrtky (PP), cukrovarské řízky (SBP) či pšeničné otruby (WB). Obsah vlákniny NDF a ADF v těchto dietách byl 321 a 220, 290 a 164, 324 a 160 g/kg. Pro pokus bylo použito 54 králíků, odstavených ve 34 dnech věku. pokus trval 42 dní. průměrný denní přírůstek byl 35, 40 a 37 g/den u diety PP, SBP a WB. signigfikantně nižší příjem krmiva a lepší konverze krmiva byly zaznamenány u králíků přijímajících dietu s bramborovými zdrtky. U této skupiny byla také zaznamenána signifikantně nejvyšší hmotnost slepého střeva a nejvyšší viskozita tráveniny tenkého střeva. Stravitelnost NDF, ADF a BNLV bylsa signifikantně vyšší a naopak stravitelnost NL nižší u králíků přijímajících dietu PP než u králíků s dietou WB. (cs)
