Description
  • Nitric oxide (NO) is now recognized as a major messenger molecule in cell. It has been suggested that NO has important physiological roles in reproductive processes such as follicular development, ovulation, spermatogenesis and implantation in various laboratory animals. Porcine cumulus-oocyte complexes and culture medium were collected together for the determination of NO metabolites (nitrites and nitrates) by colorimetric assay. NO was produced in the oocytes during their meiotic maturation. During the cultivation, the amount of NO increased with the stage of maturation. NO can serve as a messenger molecule in porcine oocytes during their meiotic maturation.

  • Bylo zjištěno, že oxid dusnatý (NO) je hlavní molekulární posel v buňce. Předpokládalo se, že NO hraje důležitou roli v reprodukčních procesech, jako jsou vývoj folikulů, ovulace, spermatogeneze a implantace u různých laboratorních zvířat. Prasečí kumulus-oocytární komplexy byly společně s kultivačním médiem analyzovány kolorimetrickou metodou na metabolity NO (nitrity a nitráty). V oocytech vznikal NO během meiotického zrání. Během kultivace se množství NO zvyšovalo se stádiem zrání. NO slouží jako molekulární posel v prasečích oocytech během jejich meiotického zrání. (cs)
