Description	A high correlation between the accumulation of WCS120 protein and acquired frost tolerance was found for a group of wheat varieties grown in regulated conditions under a wide range of temperatures (from 5 to 20 °C). In plants collected from the field, the higher correlation was found between their frost tolerance and sum of the expression of several COR genes rather than the level of expression of individual genes.
