Description
  • The approach to solve effective level of phosphorus status of agricultural soils is based on an idea of keeping appropriate concentrations soluble P-forms in soil solution which are really necessary needed for an adequate crop production. P-concentration in the soil solution of agricultural soils should be a consensus of the agronomic and environmental aspekt. The regression study on 89 different soils from an agricultural company of closed area founded the closeness regression between simulated soil solution and water soil test. The poorest regression was found for Mehlich 3 soil test. The derived average appropriate P-values of water soil test should range from 1.8 to 5.1 mg P/kg for colorimetry, and 5.8 – 11 mg P/kg for ICP-AES detection. For NH4-acetate soil test should be in range 4 – 12 mg P/kg for colorimetry, and 10 – 20 mg P/kg for ICP-AES detection. In the case soil test Mehlich 3 recalibration from environmental point of view will require an individual approach for each soil.
