Description	On 20 monitored farms the manure and nutrient production in various forms of animal housing and use of litter has been identified The data from this investigation were compared to the norms of existing legislation (“normative”). In the presently used technologies of pigs and cattle housing, the production of slurry and slurry dry matter is lower than is assumed according to the normative. Average annual production of pig slurry was found at level 15,7 t/LU, with dry matter content 5,37 % and nitrogen content 0,44 % N. Average annual production of cattle slurry was 19,4 t/LU, with dry matter content 7,62 % and nitrogen content 0,37 % N. Collected and validated data will be used for the preparation of legislative changes.
