  • The aim of our study was to evaluate the enzymatic method (kits by Megazyme)for determination of amylose content. In two independent institutes (Crop Research Institute and Potato Research Institute) amylose content was determined in winter wheat grains and potato starch samples in multi-year experiments. There was also an interlaboratory test of two samples of winter wheat varieties (Šárka, Bergland) and two potato starch samples (varieties Amado, Roberta).
