  • Effectiveness of essential oils from 34 aromatic plants was examined against Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus and C. m. subsp. insidiosus in laboratory tests.Effectiveness of essential oils from 34 aromatic plants was examined against Cms and Cmi in laboratory tests. Essential oils from Origanum vulgare, O. compactum. Eugenia caryophyllata, Artemisia absinthium, Thymus vulgaris, Abies siberica, Ocimum basili-cuiii and Citrus aurantifolius were the most effective against both bacteria. Further promising essences, Mentha arvensis and Citrus limomim were effective against Cms and Tagetes bipinata and Lavandula latifolia were effective against Cmi.
