  • The NIR spectra of the soil samples were measured on two different spectrometers, (1) FOSS NIRSystem 6500 and (2) FT-NIR Nicolet Antaris. The spectra were evaluated in relation to the chemical characteristics of the soil samples. The accuracy of the prediction was similar on both spectrometers, although in case of (1) the samples were scanned in visible and NIR spectra (400 - 2500 nm), while in case of (2), the spectra were scanned only in part of NIR band (1000 - 2500 nm) accompanied with Fourier transform. The NIR spectra were measured twice, first for the air dried soil sample with particle size < 2 mm, and second for the finely milled samples. The sample milling did not provide a significant improvement of prediction. The highest prediction accuracy was gained from samples of soil aggregates in determination of the content of total organic carbon (wet combustion) correlation coefficient 0.80 (1), resp. 0.84 (2) and total organic nitrogen 0.84 (1), resp. 0.77 (2).   • NIR spektra byla měřena na dvou různých spektrometrech: FOSS NIRSystem 6500 a FT-NIR Nicolet Antaris. Spektra byla vyhodnocena ve vztahu k chemickým vlastnostem půdních vzorků.Přesnost predikce byla podobná na obou spektrometrech. Spektra byla měřena dvakrát, poprvé u půdních vzorků prosetých 2 mm sítem, podruhé u stejných vzorků jemně rozemletých. Porovnáním obou měření, bedošlo v důsledku mletí k významnému zlepšení predikce. Nejvyšší přesnost predikce byla získána pro obsah oxidovatelného C a celkového N a poněkud nižší hodnoty byly získány pro predikci celkového C a horkou vodou extrahovatelného C. Metoda se jevila jako méně vhodná pro predikci celkového obsahu S v půdních vzorcích. (cs)
