  • Půdní mikrobiáoní biomasa, respirační aktivita, aktivita dehydrogenasy , metabolický kvocient (qCO2) a poměr mikrobiální biomasa/ organický uhlík byly stanoveny v orných a trvale zatravněných půdách s různou úrovní kontaminace rizikovými prvky (zvláště Pb, Cd a As), které se nacházejí v blízkosti kovohutě Příbram (Česká republika), známé dlouhodobým zpracováním olova. Kovohuť je v činnosti vice než 200 let, v půdách byly nalezeny koncentrace kovů až do výše 7745 mg Pb.kg-1 půdy, 33.5 mg Cd.kg-1 půdy, 1269 mg Zn.kg-1 půdy a 331 mg As.kg-1 půdy. Statisticky průkazné korelace nezávisle na úrovni kontaminace rizikovými prvky byly zjištěny mezi organickým uhlíkem a mikrobiální biomasou (r = 0.78), mikrobiální biomasou a aktivitou dehydrogenasy (r = 0.86) a mikrobiální biomasou a respirační aktivitou (r = 0.61). Naopak jen několik významných závislostí bylo zjištěno mezi mikrobiálními aktivitami a celkovými koncentracemi nebo přijatelnými frakcemi rizikových kovů v půdách. Vyšší obsahy organické hmoty v (cs)
  • The soil microbial biomass, respiratory activity, activity of dehydrogenase, the metabolic quotient (qCO2) and the ratio microbial biomass/organic carbon (Bc/Corg) were determined in arable and grassland soils with different level of heavy metal contamination (particularly Pb, Cd and As) in vicinity of a lead smelter in the Czech republic. The smelter is in operation for over 200 years, the metal concentrations up to 7745 mg Pb.kg-1 soil, 33.5 mg Cd.kg-1 soil, 1269 mg Zn.kg-1 soil and 331 mg As.kg-1 soil were found. Significant relationships between Corg and microbial biomass (r = 0.78), microbial biomass and dehydrogenase activity (r = 0.86) and microbial biomass and respiratory activity (r = 0.61) were obtained irrespective of the level of the contamination, whereas only few significant relationships were found between microbial activities and the total or available heavy metal concentrations in soils. Greater organic matter contents in grassland soils had positive effects on microbial communities
