  • The nitrogen uptake by spring wheat after application of different mineral nitrogen fertilizers (CAN, urea, urea with urease inhibitor = ureastabil) and simulation of different ways of precipitation (10 mm of precip. in 48 hours and 10 mm of precip. after 10 days from fertilizers application) was observed in the pot experiment. When precipitation came in 48 hours after application of fertilizers no difference between using of urea alone and urea with urease inhibitor (ureastabil) on soil surface was found. The positive effect of urease inhibitor NBPT in ureastabil showed when 10 mm of precipitation was applied till ten days after fertilizers. Urease inhibitor reduced hydrolysis of urea, losses by ammonia volatilization and made possible urea transport to the plant roots. Because of this fact variant with ureastabil showed higher nitrogen uptake than variants with urea or CAN.

  • V nádobových pokusech byl sledován příjem dusíku rostlinami jarní pšenice po aplikaci různých minerálních dusíkatých hnojiv (LAV, močovina, močovina s inhibitorem ureasy “UREAstabil”) následovaný simulací 10 mm srážek, a to do 48 hodin nebo po 10 dnech od aplikace hnojiv. Pokud byla simulace srážek provedena do 48 hodin, nebyly pozorovány rozdíly mezi využitím dusíku z povrchově aplikované močoviny a hnojiva UREAstabil. Pokud však došlo k pozdržení srážek až na desátý den, přínos inhibitoru ureasy se již projevil. Inhibitor ureasy omezil hydrolýzu močoviny a tím i ztráty volatilizací amoniaku a poskytl čas pro transport močoviny z povrchu do kořenové zóny. Proto byl u této varianty zjištěn nejvyšší příjem dusíku rostlinami ve srovnání s hnojivy LAV a močovina. (cs)
