  • In 2003 the transposition of Nitrate Directive (91/676/EEC) into Czech legislation was completed. Czech CAP and Action programme do not specify any limits of nitrate content in soil. Limitations on fertilizers, manure and slurry use and crop rotations are aimed at decreasing high nitrate levels in autumn. Several activities aimed at evaluation of action programmes have started recently. In autumn and spring 2001 to 2003 fields in eight farms were sampled for Nmin (N03-N+NH4-N) to evaluate risk of nitrate leaching during inter-growth period. The Nmin contents at autumn ranged from 1 mg to over 50 mg N kg -1 soil, i.e. over 200 kg N.ha-1. High nitrate concentrations were found, as expected, after so called risk crops as clover and crops fertilized with manure or slurry but for example also after wheat following wheat.   • V roce 2003 byla převedena Nitrátová směrnice (91/676/EEC) do českého zákonodárství. Zásady správné zemědělské praxe a Akční program nespecifikuje limity obsahu nitrátového dusíku v půdě. Stanovení limitů hnojiv, chlévského hnoje a kejdy používaných v osevních sledech je zaměřeno na omezení vysokých dávek hnojiv napodzim. Některé aktivity zaměřené na vyhodnocení Akčního programu byly započaty v nedávné době. Na osmi farmách byly na podzim a na jaře v letech 2001 až 2003 odebírány vzorky půdy a zjišťovány obsahy nitrátového dusíku za účelem stanovení rizika proplavení dusíku v meziporostním období. Obsah minerálního dusíku zjištěný na podzim se pohyboval od 1 do 50 mg N na 1 kg půdy (200 kg N na 1 hektar). Vysoký obsah dusíku byl zjištěn podle očekávání po pěstování jetele, hnojení chlévským hnojem a kejdou, ale například také po opakovaném pěstování pšenice.
