| - Wheat is considered to be one of the most important crops for human nutrition. In addition to widely grown species as bread wheat and durum wheat, interest in certain hulled wheat species has increased. In the framework of wheat genetic resources collection, there were evaluated accessions of spelt, emmer and einkorn wheat. Medium percentage of glumes in harvested spikelets (75.5 % of naked kernels), high thousand kernels weight (52.7 g in average) and high protein content (17.8 %) was observed in spelt wheat. Percentage of glumes in harvested emmer spikelets (74.7 % of naked kernels) was similar as in spelt wheat. Lower TKW (36.5 g) influenced lower yield of kernels (2.3 t/ha). Nevertheless, protein content was higher than in spelt wheat, namely 19.8 %. Einkorn accessions had lower percentage of naked kernels (71.8 %) and also lower TKW (28.3 g) with the yield on the same level as emmer (2.3 t/ha) and also with similar protein content (19.6 %).

- Pšenice je považována za jednou z nejvýznamnějších plodin pro lidskou výživu. Kromě široce pěstovaných druhů pšenice seté a pšenice tvrdé se zvyšuje zájem též o některé pluchaté pšenice. V rámci kolekce genetických zdrojů pšenice ve VÚRV Praha byly hodnoceny vzorky pšenice špaldy, dvouzrnky a jednozrnky. U pšenice špaldy byla zjištěna střední úroveň pluchatosti (75,5 % vyloupaných zrn) vysoká hmotnost tisíce semen (v průměru 52,7 g) a vysoký obsah bílkovin (17,8 %). Výnosový potenciál byl u sledovaného souboru vysoký a to 5,1 t vyloupaných zrn/ha. Pluchatost pšenice dvouzrnky (74,7 % vyloupaných zrn) byla obdobná jako u špaldy. Nižší HTS (36, 5 g) se promítla i do nižšího výnosu (2,3 t/ha). Obsah bílkovin však byl ještě vyšší než u vzorků špaldy a to 19,8 %. Pšenice jednozrnka měla nejnižší podíl vyloupaných zrn (71,8 %) a také nejnižší HTS (28,3 g) s výnosem a úrovni pšenice dvouzrnky (2,3 t/ha) i s obdobným obsahem bílkovin (19,6 %). (cs)
