Description	The study compares literature data on PCDD/F emissions during biomass combustion. These emissions primarily depend on the combustion technology used. In boiler plants whose combustion process is controlled by means of automatic regulation, PCDD/F emissions were ascertained in the 0.01-0.18 ng TEQ/m3 interval, in other boiler plants in the 0.8-5.7 ng interval. When combusting wood chips in a 50 kW boiler for heating of family houses, gas emissions in the 0.03-0.63 ng TEQ/m3 interval were detected, when combusting culm pellets, the emission interval was 0.082-1.822 ng. During local heating of flats using wood, PCDD/F gas emissions in the 0.1-2.0 ng TEQ/m3 interval were detected. The ascertained values do not mean a toxicological hazard.
