Description	In the gneiss quarry of Kutná Hora-Karlov the Late Cretaceous deposits (late Cenomanian-early Turonian) are preserved in several bedrock depressions. In the macropaleontologic washings of the basal clastic fill of one depression, enormously rich occurence of pyrope, almandine, rutile and tourmaline has been found. Based on chemical composition and other features of mineral grains, the environs of Malešov, Poličany, Kutná Hora and Perštejnec (serpentinites)are tentatively considered as their source areas. In addition to heavy minerals, a lithology of sediments, their foraminifera and macrofauna are also discussed. (en) V rulovém lomu v Kutné Hoře-Karlově jsou zachovány svrchnokřídové sedimenty (svrchní cenoman-spodní turon), jejichž klastické bazální části vyplňují deprese rulového podloží. V jedné z depresí byl v makropaleontologických výplavech klastických sedimentů zjištěn velmi bohatý výskyt pyropu, almadinu, rutilu a turmalínu. Na základě chemického složení a dalších vlastností minerálních zrn je předběžně předpokládán jejich možný přínos z oblasti malešovských, poličanských i kutnohorských výskytů serpentinitů, eklogitů, amfibolitů a svorů a z oblasti Perštejnce serpentinitů.V práci je diskutována rovněž litologie sedimentů, jejich foraminifery a v hrubých rysech i makrofauna.
