Description	The Stará Jímka area is located in the vicinity of the Prášilské Lake (Bohemian Forest), the surrounding of which are important and interesting from a geomorphological point of view because of the unique fossil glacial genesis during Pleistocene. Results of the research are being analysed from a palynological and palaeoalgological point of view. Preliminary results (palynology and radiocarbon dating)indicate that the core represents the Late Glacial and Holocene and confirm assumptions by earlier research of the presence of a glacial lake in the Stará Jímka area. The Stará Jímka area is located in the vicinity of the Prášilské Lake (Bohemian Forest), the surrounding of which are important and interesting from a geomorphological point of view because of the unique fossil glacial genesis during Pleistocene. (en) Okolí jezera Stará jímka se nachází nedaleko Prášilského jezera (česká část Šumavy), celé území je důležité z geomorfologického hlediska, protože zde byly nalezeny unikátní fosilní pozůstatky zalednění během pleistocénu. Výsledky výzkumu byly ověřeny jak palynologicky tak paleoalgologicky. Předběžné výsledky (palynologie, radiokarbonové datování) potvrzují předchozí výzkumy v minulosti, dokazují přítomnost pozdnoglaciálního a holocénního jezera Stará jímka. (cs)
