Description	MAGIC model was calibrated to six ICP Integrated Monitoring catchments in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic and United Kingdom. Large declines in sulfate concentrations in surface waters were well captured by the model. At all catchments, the improvementsin chemistry predicted under the Gothenburg Protocol Scenario were greater than for the older Oslo Protocol providing quantification of the benefits of stricter emission controls.
