Description	Both models simulated sustantial historical acidification of the soils and surface waters of the sensitive Lysina catchment and smaller impact of acid inputs on the soil and surface water chemistry at the Pluhuv Bor catchment. Recovery from acidification expected from the implementation of the Gothenburg protocol (UN ECE, 1999), and the timing of the ecosystem responses are analyzed. Moreover, discrepancies of the model predicitions are investigated regarding the conceptual differencies of two applied models.
