Description
  • Purpose of this study was to assess different aspects of ophthalmic radiosurgery accuracy performed on the Leksell gamma knife: 1) accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the eye, 2) stability and rigidity of eye fixation and 3) accuracy of the Leksell GammaPlan treatment planning system calculations and 4) treatment delivery by the Leksell gamma knife. It was demonstrated in this study that Leksell gamma knife could be used for ophthalmic radiosurgery with sufficient accuracy.

  • Cílem této studie bylo zhodnotit různé aspekty přesností oftalmologické radiochirurgie prováděné na Leksellově gama noži: 1) přesnost zobrazení očních lezí magnetickou resonancí, 2) stabilitu a rigiditu fixace oka, 3) přesnost plánování léčby oka pomocí plánovacího systému Leksell GammaPlan, a 4) ozáření pomocí Leksellova gama nože. Studie prokázala, že Leksellův gama nůž může být využit pro léčbu oftalmologických lezí radiochirurgií s dostatečnou přesností. (cs)
