Description	V naší prospektivní studii jsme sledovali vztahy mezi demografickými parametry, biochemickými markery, neuropsychologickým měřením, SPECT a neuropatologickými nálezy. Prokázali jsme, že nejvýznamnějším nepříznivým faktorem vzhledem k přežití je vyšší věk v době začátku nemoci. Nalezli jsme, že kognitivní postižení u ALS je relativně časté (u 17 z 42 pacientů), nenašli jsme v tomto rozdíl mezi bulbární a končetinovou formou ALS. (cs) In our prospective study we followed relationships between demographic factors and biochemical, neuropsychological evaluation, SPECT and neuropathological findings. We showed, that the most important factor associated with shorter survival was higher age of onset. We show, that there is relative frequent cognitive impairment in ALS (found in 17 from 42 patients), we found no differentiation between limb and bulbar onset in terms of dementia.
