Description	A 23 year-old woman wirhout any psychiatric heredity was repearedly hospitalized for a pharmacoresistant paranoid-hallucinatory syndrome. The progressive limbic epilepsy started at age two years. An insufficient effect of the pharmacological treatment leaded in a radiological surgical intervention, however, the frequency and process of the epileptic paroxysms slightly deteriorated. Severe clinical psychiatrie symptoms developed 5 years after the intervention, apparently in connection wirh proceeding tissue reparation after the irradiation. It was necessary to make neurosurgical anteromesial temporallobe resection. In consequence, the epileptic paroxysms have never re-appeared. The pattern of psychiatrie symptoms turned to chronic auditory hallucinations and intermittent paranoid syndrome, so far irresponsive to antipsychotic treatment.
