| - Allogeneic stem cell transplantation for patients with refractory anaemia may result in a 50% event-free survival, independent on the type of the donor and the type of conditioning regimen. Better results are observed in the transplant performed in recent years, increased age and disease duration more then 12 months are associated with inferior survival.
