Description	The aim of this work was to find a plausible model for estimation of the total amount of suspended load transported through a cross section of a given water stream during a time period under consideration. As a base of this study, the time series of daily flow rates and suspended flow concentrations measured at 11 stations in Czech Republic were used. All these series are, up to now, about 15 years long. Thisd work present three models. Two of them can be used in canalised and natural rivers, respectively, where the time series are known. The third may be used as well for such sites in which no knowledge of suspended load is available.
