Description	The results show relatively tight relationship between grain size in chosen percentiles of size distribution curve and the water level slope. This relationship has a shape of power function and it is valid for streams with coarse bed materia (gravel andcoarser). Analysis of regression coefficients has showed that these coefficients depend upon the percentile. These results show that it is possible to estimate the size distribution curve only on the basis of the water level slope.
